PEOPLE
Caring for each other is the
foundation of our commitment. Each year, one in four Will
County residents receives help from one of our 45 United Way
agencies.
LOCAL
Your
contribution stays in Will County where it supports a local
network of more than 100 United Way-funded programs and
services.
EFFICIENT
Most employees are able to
contribute to United Way through payroll deduction. Most pledge
one hour's pay per month or 1% of their annual salary.
More
than 90 cents of every dollar is spent on programs and services
provided by your United Way and its partner agencies.
ACCOUNTABLE
Community volunteers who use local resources to provide
solutions to critical issues.
United
Way Partner Agencies adhere to an annual review process that
determines if their programs and services are continuing to meet
the needs of our community.
