Women United® is United Way of Will County's women of social change initiative. We are a diverse, vibrant group of women who use their power and passion to impact our local community.
Igniting the power of women, impacting our local community.
The Women United Commitment
United Way of Will County’s Women United fights for the self-sufficiency, health, safety, and education of every person in Will County. We care about our community; we want to make it a better place for all and we show it! With our Community Baby Shower, we bring baby wellness items overlooked by SNAP and WIC to parents and babies in need. With the upcoming creation of our Learn to Read-Read to Learn project, we will encourage young minds and promote childhood literacy.
· Members – Women United will not have monthly meetings, instead members are expected to support and participate in Women United social change projects.
· Board Members – General Member commitments in addition to attending quarterly Board Meetings to set the course for Women United.
