Hygiene for Humanity is United Way of Will County's unified approach to bring corporate partners, donors and volunteers together, to collect needed hygiene items/supplies that are provided to Families in Transition Support Day attendees.
Hygiene items collected through our community approach, are packed into hygiene kits and distributed directly to families. Items collected are those that are not WIC or SNAP eligible, meaning that families that are already struggling and experiencing homelessness, are not able to purchase hygiene items for their families.
For 2017, three Families in Transition Support Day events have been scheduled:
Joliet: Saturday, April 22 @ Joliet West
Crete: Saturday, August 19th @ Crete-Monee School District Administration Center
Bolingbrook: Saturday, October 21st @ Bolingbrook High School
Give the gift of a fresh start and join our effort by hosting a Hygiene for Humanity Supply Drive or contact Sarah Oprzedek for more information!
