Corporate social responsibility, meet the workplace campaign
During a time of significant financial strain in the late 1800s, a Woman Advocate, two Rabbi's and a Priest united together to help those struggling within their local community. This pioneering group, driven by their passion to make a difference and help those in need, knew that financial support was critical in order to provide and meet the vast needs of their local residents. It was through their collective efforts that a simple, but innovative concept was born: those that had the means to help were working and thus, in order to support those in need, we must seek support at the workplace.
130 years later, the United Way Network still partners with workplaces across the globe, and in our backyard, in order to address the most pressing and urgent needs of our local communities. At United Way of Will County, we are proud of the relationships we have developed with both employers and employees over the years, which have resulted in over $100M raised and invested back into Will County, IL!
By hosting a workplace campaign at your place of business, you will engage your coworkers and employees in community need and concerns, build or contribute to your corporate social responsibility program and strengthen communities ties through collaboration and camaraderie.
